The Infantry Assault Badge by AS in Triangle |
|
Notes to remember: Materials used: Zinc. For now, the real maker of the “AS in a triangle” is unknown. Some theorists are suggesting the A.D. Schwerdt Company from Stuttgart as the maker, but in my opinion this assumption is totally wrong. Design and hardware similarities point to the Gablonz a.d. Neiße, where other manufacturers (like A.S. and RK for example) were using the same hardware and almost identical obverse design. It is worth noting that many businesses from that area were members of the Regional Gablonz Manufacturers Association. Evidence suggests they were co-operating tightly with each other inside the association. Rarity scale: 6/10 AS in Triangle (silver grade): obverse
AS in Triangle (silver grade): reverse
AS in Triangle (silver grade): hinge (corrosion inside the hinge prevent me from opening the pin for pictures. It was too risky).
AS in Triangle (silver grade): catch
AS in Triangle (bronze grade): obverse
AS in Triangle (bronze grade): reverse
AS in Triangle (bronze grade): hinge
AS in Triangle (bronze grade): catch
