Materials used: Buntmetall (tombak). Pilot Badges made by BSW Company are rather easy to find. Some collectors dislike the eagle design so they are not as eagerly sought after for collections. BSW Pilot Badges were made in 2 different patterns. The main difference between patterns is the manufacturer mark on the reverse of the badge. The 1st pattern features the full name of the company: Brüder Schneider A.G. - Wien, while the 2nd pattern features only the letters BSW enclosed in a clover.
Rarity scale: 7.5/10 with full company name; 6/10 with BSW letters in the clover
