Notes to remember:
The 2 main knots (below the badge and at the end of the cord twists) - are definitely different from known originals. I always expect to see 14 twists in the main cord - here are 16. The wool backing to the badge has unquestionably been replaced which leads me to suspect the badge has been added postwar. Also protection material from the reverse side of the main cord is missing. After short investigation I discovered numerous web sites which are offering this type of the cord for the price of 15 Euro. It is very easy for the fakers to assemble lanyard like this from various parts. Original emblem could be found for less the 50 Euro and with some “art work”, the fake Panzer Lanyard could be easily sold for 350 Euro…
